I often see people show off places theyve been in news posts so I thought I'd give it a try! So recently I went to visit my sister who lives in Louisville and honestly it was so beautiful there. I wish I got to experience the nature more but there was a walking trail that I skated over that lead to this gorgeous view of the Ohio River

Afterwards my sister informed me she had a really cool surprise for me, and after driving half an hour we stopped at the mall where she instructed me to "buy some really cool clothes", so naturally I bought jeans with big skulls on them. Afterwards we drove another hour and a half deep into Kentucky until we arrived in this big stadium, still having no idea what it was for we went in

Evidently it was a concert for Blink-182, which I was ecstatic for considering they've been one of my favorite bands for years! It was also really cool because my sister had seen them live about 3 or 4 times before and I had always expressed how awesome it must've been to see them when they first started blowing up. After a few opening bands and my sister having to have 7 people stand up so she could use the bathroom at least 4 times (she found the cash bar) Blink-182 took the stage! They blew me away, hearing all the songs live in a stadium packed with speakers was insane!! The side banter on stage was hilarious, which had humor that was perfectly matched to the beanie I bought from the merch booth that reads "your mom". The megatron had graphics over the live footage the entire time which was also just going to show how polished the performance was. Eventually the pyrotechnics kicked off, fireworks popping off on top, confetti and streamer cannons raining down over the stage, and vents on the actual stage that shot out fire. It was incredibly sick to see, expecially as a surprise. After several hours of having our minds blown song after song, we stumbled out into the street, and outside we found a Blink-182 themed halfpipe for photo ops, and obviously I had to take some pictures there

Being tired, sore, and sweaty, we embarked on a journey to find something to eat. The parking garage was a nightmare so we left off on foot where we found a bodega which even at midnight, had an open kitchen. Naturally we left with soda and pizza that we ate in the parking garage which has since emptied out. We then drove the 2 hours home, blasting Blink and talking about how sick the show was and what the shows she went to 2 decades ago were like.

Overall the trip there was both very relaxing and incredibly fun and for those considering visiting Louisville or even Kentucky as a whole, I highly recommend it as the nature alone is gorgeous

Old Skool is finally live! Its been so much fun working on it and its something Im extremely proud of! After months of work Im really happy with how it turned out and Im really excited to be able to post it today! Thank you all for the support both with the project and just with the stuff I've been doing here on Newgrounds in general, I really appreciate it all, and if you haven't seen it yet you should totally check it out!

6 months ago I wanted to challenge myself with animation since I was just starting out and learning how to not make it look really really really bad lol, and so I decided for anything to be worth watching I would have to figure out certain mechanics within animation and I began Old Skool, which was originally just for me to test out and learn new (to me) animation techniques, but I quickly had so much fun with it that it kept growing. It started as me trying to teach myself how to do moving backgrounds, and eventually, a loose plot developed around it and it became a full story. Flash forward 6 months of me writing, getting everyone I knew to shuffle into my room and record voice lines, and long nights hunched over my drawing tablet scribbling away into madness, I finished the animation portion in full tonight. I still have to do some audio and sound design before its complete, but the full 15-minute animation portion is finally complete, and I couldn't be more proud of it. Both in standards of what I've done so far, and it being my biggest animation project to date, I plan on launching it soon, but I wanna take a moment to thank anyone who has helped directly with Old Skool, or anyone who has just supported me on Newgrounds.

It feels kinda surreal looking at 6 months of work and being in the stages of putting the final bow on it. But half a year, lots of learning and improvement, and a few software crashes that lost entire files, its finally entering the very final stages, and I am proud of myself and this animation.

I'll make another post when it actually goes live, but until then thank you all for the support, it really means a lot to me and I appreciate it so much

Also thanks to all the bands who's albums I listened to multiple times over and over lol

First up I might not be as active on here in the coming week, my grandfather had passed on this last Friday, July 5th, and with the pain of losing a loved one as well as the funeral planning on top of it mixed with my mental health just not being the greatest, I don't foresee myself being very active socially. I still plan on working on art, music, and animations because it's a fun passion for me and I feel having something unrelated to do can help me get thru this, but I don't plan on really being "active" while I process it all. With that being said, I plan on uploading an animation sometime this morning that I made a couple of weeks ago that I find funny, and I would also like to unfold my plans for my various projects!

Old Skool

So my big animation project I've been doing for a few months now is almost complete! Im shooting for a late July release, but I only have the ending to mix the voices for and animate, then the entire project to do sound design for and then it will finally be completed! I learned a lot with animation since I started last October, and this project really highlights that. My estimate for the run time is roughly 15(ish) minutes, and I'm very proud of my progress in my animation endeavors! It will also be nice to finally have an updated version of what I'm able to do on my NG, much to the chagrin of my earlier work being some of the only references of my animation on this site lol

New Music

I've recorded some music I have been sitting on since I recorded and I plan on getting around to uploading them sometime this summer, they're all oriented around skate punk, but one features a xylophone in the bridge (for some reason lol)

Art

A lot of the drawings I've been working on have been collab related, but I've also been working on some drawings that originated from sketches that Im excited to upload once I finish, a majority of them feature Buncon (the working name for that character, and also the only character I've seem to been drawing lately lol)

Collabs and Other Projects

One of the projects I'm most excited for is an animated music video for the band BOTG! I'm stoked I was asked to work on it and be given the chance to animate my first music video! It's currently still being worked on and is the stage of animatic, but I'm really excited for a lot of the different shots and visuals, and I am very anticipatory to work on it

Collabs- I've recently gotten into doing collabs as you may have noticed and I've currently made a list of all the ones I'm interested in doing or that seemed fun to work on. The list is 17 bullet points long and spans out to late November, so here and there you'll find me doing various collabs

Thank you all for the support I've gotten so far on everything, it really means a lot to me! No matter what life throws at me I'm going to keep creating things, this world can't tear me down.

Alright so I'm close enough to summer break to be able to dedicate an insane amount of time to my personal project I've been working on in between a busy schedule since January: Old Skool! I originally made a little test to get moving backgrounds and I wanted to do so much more with it, eventually, I conceptually came up with Old Skool! This old dude who acts like a skate punk, and just raises hell around his town. It's my biggest and best animation project so far and Im really excited to finish it over the summer, I have about 4:45 animated so far, and I plan to finish it around June, so stay tuned for it! In the mean time, have some screenshots from the parts I have animated so far!

I'm currently working on my biggest project yet, I'll post updates here but for the time being I have all the VAs and most of the lines recorded, animation is the biggest thing now, I don't have a projection for when it'll be out but I have 2 weeks of nothing to do but animate so I hope to get it done soon!

All I'll say for right now is that it has a lot of personal experimentation, as well as a lot of things to improve my animation within it (My first walk cycle is actually featured in this one, which I think is pretty cool!)

I'll keep you all updated and thanks for the support on my shorter animations as I learned how to animate, I really appreciate it!

New stuff (everyone likes stuff right? well this stuff is even better cuz its new!!!) is coming, Im mostly working on animation/getting better at animation/learnig animation, but I also plan on recording more music and uploading drawings, but my big focus is to just upload more stuff to newgrounds, be it animations, songs, or drawings

Also hopefully someday down the line I can team up with a coder to make a game or two, but until then, im really proud of myself for the progress I make in all my passions and all the new ones I pick up, I grew up on this site and Im stoked to be able to actually contribute more to it

Sorry for not doing much lately (other than enjoy music and games in silence), I've been off at college, struggling with depression, as well as family issues (y'know, the usual). But I've been trying to get back into things. I'm writing new music I hope to record soon, as well as being active on my YouTube again, and also I got a job voice acting, so I hope to be more active all around to say the least. Thank you for all who have ever supported me, you mean a lot to me!

Well after several months (some of the songs were written/recorded longer ago than that) our new album "Chaos Theory" is finished! Audio wise at least. It has 27 tracks (we'll be dumping the last 5 tonite) and is mostly punk with a few hyperpop, ska, and other subgenres mixed in! We'll be drawing the artwork, but we aim for it to be out soon!

Hey freaks and cadavers,

My new album "Tales of the Magic Pumpkin Boy" is out now! I personally think it kicks ass and you should check it out. It's also Halloween themed so that's timely
